from experience, <strong>the</strong>y <strong>are</strong> <strong>in</strong>valuable. Deny<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>se<br />

services <strong>to</strong> families <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> middle class, even <strong>the</strong> work<strong>in</strong>g<br />

poor, will will <strong>in</strong> fact place hundreds of <strong>California</strong> children <strong>in</strong><br />

danger of real pa<strong>in</strong> and suffer<strong>in</strong>g. The <strong>the</strong>rapy services<br />

provided by CCS will be difficult <strong>to</strong> f<strong>in</strong>d and simply not<br />

affordable for most of <strong>the</strong>se families and children<br />

recover<strong>in</strong>g from surgery or fac<strong>in</strong>g from a variety of medical<br />

disorders will suffer. Physical <strong>the</strong>rapy eases pa<strong>in</strong>, improves<br />

mobility and helps p<strong>are</strong>nts and children cope with very very<br />

difficult medical issues and significantly improve quality of<br />

life.<br />
