761. Marjorie McCloy Salt Lake City, UT My grandson has CP and receives therapy at CCS. My
daughter and her husband make decent money, but with
all expenses of caring for a child with CP, there is not
much left over. It would be hard for them if they lost the
free services of CCS, but much more so on families who
are only slightly above the cut-off. These services are vital
for children with CP and their families. Not to mention what
would happen to the therapists if the Center is closed
down. Please rethink this, and give all children a fair
chance to be the best they can be.

to children with speical needs. The therapists also assist
families in finding equipment and resources that help their
children to become more independent with their mobility
and activities of daily living such as dressing and eating.
Without the expertise of these therapists, families often
would not know where to turn for cost-effective solutions to
their children's needs.

that qualify, regardless of their income. It allows therapists
to provide care to children with long term conditions at a
frequency that may not be possible with private insurance
only.

should've have to think twice about helping children that
should always be a first priority in protecting them and
helping as we can.

experience in helping this population.
