our daughter without the Medical Therapy Program. There
is a reason this program works - they work with children.
We went to a regular OT that didn't work with children
normally and she didn't know how she could help. It was
annoying. Facing what we faced, it was devastating. A
friend told me about this program and it was a blessing. My
daughter has been completely changed by this program. It
amazing how much better she it. Even her doctors are
amazed by her progress. We never would have been able
to experience this without California Children's Services.
When there was no one else to turn to, they were there. If
this program disappears for families like me , that will be
very disappointing. You should really consider the one's
who will be hurt the most by this. The children. The
children who need the wonderful therapists at California
Children's Services. They know how to work with kids.
Think about it.

for our child our family would not be able to afford the
medical care that he needs to grow and develop.

children and families I believe regardless of finicial ability
every child that needs these services should be able to
access them. In my experience with Early Start many of
these services are often delayed while income is verified.
This is valuable time that a child never recoups.
