25 years. Pediatric therapists are highly specialized, and
outside of CCS, these services are not available in most
communities. If this budget proposal is passed, many of
these children will go without the therapy services that are
so vital in helping them become independent.

MOST! Without PT, my son would not have the level of
integration that he does. In his first grade class. Where he
KEEPS UP with his peers! Please. I dare you: come to
Meadow School in Petaluma and have a visit. Let me take
you around and show you why this is so wrong.
Oh, good grief. $40,000 in California? That's practically
homeless. You people need to stop. Just. STOP! Nobody
wants budget cuts, but to cut the budgets of people who
HAVE NO OTHER RESOURCES...that's INSANITY!
Schools can't manage with the paltry budgets they've
already got! Are you paying attention? Have you BEEN in
a school lately? Insurance companies will pay?
Hahaahahaaahaaahaaa. Very funny. You must be on
drugs. That is the silliest thing I've ever heard. I can't even
get our insurance company to pay for one-time visits, and
you want insurance companies to pay for long-term
medical care. You must be high. That's the only
POSSIBLE reason you'd propose something as completely
ludacris as that. I know that lately republicans (and yes,
even some of the democrats) have flirted with the idea that
the truth doesn't have to be the truth during an election
year. Or, when you want something really bad and don't
have the votes. OR when you're just bored and want to
start an insane rumor, like the one about the President
being born in Kenya, or "secret muslims" or "death
squads"...but the rest of us are resigned to the fact that
reality is at our kitchen tables. Needing breakfast and
hopefully, after a full day of school, a weekly visit to our PT
where we will learn some exercises to keep practicing
through the week so that when he goes to school on
Thursday, he can play sports with his school friends.
