Santa Cruz, CA I'm scared about the devastating effects this budget
proposal would have on the Medical Therapy Program and
the kids and families we serve. There are alternatives to
reducing access to the pediatric specialty services the
MTP provides (allowing insurance coverage for MTP
services, etc.). This is a worthy petition!

play by the rules, support their families, and pay their taxes
in spite of the heavy care load of a disabled child.

people in society. These already disadvantaged people
need protection. The family income cutoff of $40K is a
VERY low bar for those who live in the Bay Area. I can't
think of ANY child in our school district who's family
income is less that $40K.

very important to us as we can't afford to pay for services
out of pocket and my son needs his PT/OT.
