San Jose, CA Children with disabilities reach their full potential with a
little help from PT, OT and Speech. Our daughter has
neurological disability which in some ways in minimal, but it
affects her coordination. We have been fortunate to have
the funds and insurance to provide her with OT every
week. And today, 5 yeears later, she plays with friends,
rides abike, and swims like a fish. She still needs the OT to
keep learning the skills of just being a kid. I can not accept
that other children would not be given the same chance.

care later in life. This is a very short-sighted approach to
saving money in the short term and burdening the future
with medical, social and psychological costs, not to
mention diminshing the quality of life for those afflicted with
these ailments and injuries.

of his parents are loving, hard working, and supportive of
their entire family. I have known of their struggles since
their children were born. Their son with the C.P. couldn't
yet walk when he was three plus. but thanks to the help
that comes from this source he is in public school, and he
walked down the aisle this past summer along with his
siblings as one of my son and his to be wife's ring bearers
with the biggest smile on his face. A few months later, he
needed special surgery on his leg. For all of the children
out there....how can this program cut even be
considered?!?!?!?! Where is the humanity?
