The general objective of A/C 0 is to perform global system integration at aircraft level of the
real parts of the different aircraft systems. This activity also aims at:
• preparing and supporting the flight tests. It ensures the safety of the first
flights.
• alleviating validation performed during flight tests
• supporting qualification and certification process (failure cases for instance)
• improving aircraft maturity at entry in service
• Supporting aircraft in service life by examination of incidents or accidents,
validation of modifications and integration of new systems.
System integration must cover varying aspects:
• Operational aspects as human factors, maintenance, safety, …
• Functional aspects to check that systems behaviour is as expected.
• Environment aspects as Electromagnetic Compatibility, lightning protection,
