La base de mesure situé sur le site universitaire de Marseille Nord (Technopôle de Château Gombert) et utilisée par l’équipe TEM de l’institut Fresnel est constituée par une grande Cage de Faraday anéchoïque dans laquelle est implanté un ensemble de positionneurs mécaniques d’antennes et de cibles. Cet ensemble nous permet d’accéder à un grand nombre de configurations de mesures : monostatique ou bistatiques 2D ou 3D grâce à un tout nouveau positionneur sphérique. Le domaine de fréquence est compris entre 500 MHz et 26.5 GHz Les principaux domaines de recherche expérimentale de l’équipe peuvent être regroupés en trois groupes : • Détermination de diagrammes de diffraction 2D et 3D dans le cadre d’études sur des : → Problèmes Directs : Diagrammes de diffraction et Surfaces Equivalentes Radar [1]. → Problèmes Inverses : détection et reconnaissance de forme d’objets [2, 3]. • Caractérisation d’antennes [4]. • Caractérisation électromagnétique en temps réel de matériaux sur une large bande de fréquence.
