PD169 - Educação Sexual na Criança e Adolescente Portadores <strong>de</strong> Defi -<br />

ciência Física<br />

O presente trabalho apresenta uma revisão do <strong>de</strong>senvolvimento sexual em<br />

crianças e adolescentes portadores <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>ficiência física, baseada na estrutura<br />

e funcionamentos corporais, activida<strong>de</strong>s individuais e perspectivas sociais.<br />

São apresentadas questões relacionadas com a activida<strong>de</strong> sexual, relacionamentos,<br />

<strong>de</strong>senvolvimento pubertário e sexual, cuidados ginecológicos, contracepção<br />

e planeamento familiar, disfunções sexuais, barreiras sociais e<br />

abuso sexual, como base para o <strong>de</strong>senvolvimento <strong>de</strong> estratégias <strong>de</strong> educação<br />

sexual a<strong>de</strong>quadas, sobretudo para os profissionais <strong>de</strong> saú<strong>de</strong>. No compito<br />

geral, os adolescentes portadores <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>ficiência física participam em relações<br />

sexuais sem se encontrarem munidos dos conhecimentos e competências a<strong>de</strong>quados<br />

para se manterem saudáveis, seguros e satisfeitos. Embora o seu<br />

<strong>de</strong>senvolvimento sexual possa estar sujeito a barreiras quer por limitações<br />

físicas como psicológicas ou sociais, intencionais ou não intencionais, existem<br />

oportunida<strong>de</strong>s formais e não formais dos jovens com <strong>de</strong>ficiências cons -<br />

truírem e <strong>de</strong>senvolverem expressivida<strong>de</strong> e preenchimento sexuais. Os profissionais<br />

<strong>de</strong> saú<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>vem reconhecer a necessida<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> implementar estratégias<br />

que promovam a in<strong>de</strong>pendência física, emocional, social e psicossexual da<br />

criança, adolescente e jovem adulto portador <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>ficiências físicas.<br />

A circuncisão ritual é um procedimento cirúrgico milenar que continua a ser<br />

praticado na actualida<strong>de</strong> por motivos religiosos, culturais ou médicos. O<br />

objectivo <strong>de</strong>ste trabalho é abordar a história e o significado <strong>de</strong>ste ritual em<br />

diferentes contextos, <strong>de</strong>s<strong>de</strong> a Antiguida<strong>de</strong> até aos dias <strong>de</strong> hoje, especulando<br />

também sobre papel da circuncisão no futuro, nomeadamente na prevenção<br />

da epi<strong>de</strong>mia VIH/SIDA.<br />

PD171 - The Implementation of Formula of Survival in Southtyrol: coo -<br />

peration between Medical Emergency Association and Paediatricians<br />

Introduction: We will report that the formula of survival: “Survival =<br />

Transfer from Medical Science to Education to LOCAL Implementation” can<br />

be realized by a strong territorial approach <strong>de</strong>aled by a central education center<br />

insi<strong>de</strong> a global strategy for a well <strong>de</strong>fined territory. Material & Methods:<br />

Southtyrol: Since the 1990ies the Medical Emergency Association White<br />

Crosse <strong>de</strong>ci<strong>de</strong>d to increase the Educational Activity in the area of Southtyrol:<br />

493.910 inhabitants - 7.399,97km2 - 66,6 inhab./km2 - 3 languages (German,<br />

Italian &amp; Ladin). The range of Life Support courses: from first aid cour -<br />

ses for population until highly advanced simulation for emergency personal.<br />

On <strong>de</strong>mand in all three official languages. Main actions: 1) A professional<br />

logistic structure with education office and logistic has been created and<br />

enhanced 2) Educational experiences of the countries with the same langua -<br />

ges (German/Italian) has been used 3) National and International Standard<br />

courses (AHA American Heart Association, ERC European Resuscitation<br />

Council, SIMEUP Italian Society for Paediatric Emergency Medicine)<br />

influen ced the internal training programme with scientific input. 4) Courses<br />

of SIMEUP/ERC has been implementated in the trainingprogramme for the<br />

own staff and for healthcare provi<strong>de</strong>rs in the area of the public southtyrolean<br />

Health Trust 5) Special attention for training in the paediatric field<br />

(PBLS/PALS Paediatric Basic/Advanced Life Support) in cooperation with<br />

paediatric scientic societies as SIMEUP Italian Soc. Paed. Emergency<br />

Medicine.. Results: we reached the following numbers of course participants<br />

in year 2008: industries 6294, schools 1987, public Administration1093,<br />

White Cross Emergency Staff 10130, Members of White Cross Association<br />

367, Individuals 202, Health trust 834, Total participants/Year2008: 20907<br />

Conclusions: we conclu<strong>de</strong> that a good professionalized training center with<br />

logistics to cover the own territory for all target groups from lay people to<br />

health care provi<strong>de</strong>rs is an important step to approach the aim of formula of<br />

survival. We <strong>de</strong>monstrated that important numbers can be reached. We un<strong>de</strong>rline<br />

the importance of cooperation with national and international scientific<br />

societies to keep a high quality level of education in emergency medicine<br />

including Pediatrics.<br />

Introduction: the world of Paed. Resuscitation is well <strong>de</strong>fined by worldwi<strong>de</strong><br />

consensus document of ILCOR International Liason Committee of Resus -<br />

citation. Isn’t it? Continental gui<strong>de</strong>lines <strong>de</strong>rived from ILCOR for continental<br />

use seem to be usefull. But what is happen, if there are courses from 2 continents<br />

in 1 area with different gui<strong>de</strong>lines and course concepts? Aims: Harmo -<br />

ni zation and Exchange of bi-/trilingual instructors and cooperation in tea -<br />

ching paediatric resuscitation between 2 culturally, linguistically and geogra -<br />

phi cally similar areas, but divi<strong>de</strong>d by gui<strong>de</strong>lines: Switzerland–AHA<br />

American Heart Association since 1996/ Southtyrol-ERC European Resusci -<br />

ta tion Council since 2003: German, Raetoromanic, Italian. Only Switzerland:<br />

French Methods: screening of existing courses in both areas in 2003:<br />

Switzerland: PALS Paed. Adv. Life Support-AHA / no PBLSPaed. Basic Life<br />

Support, Southtyrol: EPLS European Paed. Life Support-ERC-course, Italian<br />

PBLS/ PALS-courses of SIMEUP Ital. Soc. Of Paed. Emergency Medicine<br />

since 1998. Formal possibilities to integrate? SRC Swiss Resuscitation<br />

Council introduced a fexible system for recognition of PBLS-courses: national<br />

requisits &amp; audit of different PBLS-courses for SRC-quality-label. In<br />

this framework Ital. PBLS-courses of PBLS Trainingcenter Southtyrol c/o<br />

White Cross has been introduced in Switzerland. Southtyrolean PBLS-cour -<br />

ses insi<strong>de</strong> the Italian teaching network obtained SRC-quality-label. Results:<br />

Thanks to SRC-System to label PBLS-courses, Ital. PBLS-course <strong>de</strong>spite of<br />

less flexible Italian system (as AHA/ERC, too) has been introduced in the<br />

spirit of European integration. The same Italian course is running in the swiss<br />

Canton Ticino/Tessin in Italian since 2003 following AHA-gui<strong>de</strong>lines and in<br />

Southtyrol since 1998 in German/Italian following ERC-gui<strong>de</strong>lines. Joint<br />

Ital.-Swiss PBLS-instructor course has been realized the first time in 2007<br />

following ERC- and AHA-gui<strong>de</strong>lines in German/Italian. Exchange of EPLS-<br />

ERC- and PALS-AHA-instructors was promoted insi<strong>de</strong> formal recognition<br />

provi<strong>de</strong>d by ERC/AHA since 2003. This PBLS/PALS/EPLS-System has been<br />

promoted by Southtyrolean/Swiss instructors in cooperation with 15 countries<br />

since 2003/2004 in Germany/Austria. Conclusion: Interregional coope -<br />

ration insi<strong>de</strong> cultural/linguistic spaces wished by EU is possible <strong>de</strong>spite diffe -<br />

rent gui<strong>de</strong>lines. Good Paed. Resuscitation is possible using all available systems<br />

integrating quality thanks to joint instructor teams.<br />

PD173 - “Infusion Management in Paediatric Patients”: a New Course in<br />

Touch with Paediatric Life Support courses<br />

Introduction: infusion management become more and more complex in<br />

PICU. New strategies and approaches are nee<strong>de</strong>d. A well <strong>de</strong>signed infusion<br />

management is able to reduce complications and costs. Patient Safety will be<br />

increased. Objectives: To create a didactical tool, to teach mo<strong>de</strong>rn infusion<br />

management insi<strong>de</strong> and outsi<strong>de</strong> our PICU. Methods: in the framework of a<br />

study with inline-filtration 807 patients of our PICU during last 5 years, the<br />

infusion management has been revised and adapted avoiding incompatibilities<br />

using a compter based programme (compatibility in the catheter KIK,<br />

www.kik-service.<strong>de</strong>). Didactical settings and items of existing course as<br />

EPLS European Paediatric life Support has been integrated: vascular access<br />

station with administration of fluids and drugs via intraosseous access or via<br />
