Account Managers <strong>and</strong> National Directors of Employers.<br />

Product Support Programs, similar to the materials <strong>Pfizer</strong> provides to healthcare professionals (HCPs),<br />

must be approved by a <strong>Pfizer</strong> Review Committee <strong>and</strong>, if they discuss <strong>Pfizer</strong> products, must be<br />

consistent with product labeling. Similarly, Product Support Programs cannot be modified or changed<br />

in any way. If materials need to be modified for a certain activity, modified materials must be approved<br />

by a <strong>Pfizer</strong> Review Committee prior to use.<br />

The information obtained from a Product Support Program can be provided back to the customer as<br />

support for the efficacy <strong>and</strong> safety of <strong>Pfizer</strong> products. However, you cannot provide data derived from<br />

a Product Support program with one customer to a different customer because the data has not been<br />

approved by a <strong>Pfizer</strong> Review Committee <strong>and</strong> may not be of the type sufficient to support promotional<br />

statements.<br />

Quality Programs<br />

Quality Programs Defined<br />

Quality Programs refer to those Headquarters-approved activities that offer information <strong>and</strong> other<br />

resources relating to therapeutic areas, disease states <strong>and</strong> patient care to healthcare organizations,<br />

such as medical groups, long term care, health maintenance organizations (HMOs), the U.S.<br />

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), <strong>and</strong> pharmacy benefit<br />

managers.<br />

Quality Programs support <strong>Pfizer</strong>’s overall mission of improving the quality of patient care. These<br />

programs are not necessarily specific to <strong>Pfizer</strong> products or even drug therapy generally. Quality<br />

Programs focus on improving patient care by providing customers with information about, for example,<br />

quality accreditation st<strong>and</strong>ards, HCPs’ patient interaction skills, <strong>and</strong> management of medical<br />

conditions. However, Quality Programs are not intended to aid a MCC’s accreditation. All current<br />

<strong>Pfizer</strong> Quality Programs are identified at http://mmweb2.pfizer.com.<br />

All Quality Programs must be approved by a <strong>Pfizer</strong> Review Committee. These programs cannot be<br />

modified or changed in any way without prior RC approval. If materials need to be modified (for<br />
