In June 2011, the Attorney General in the state of Vermont updated its Guide to the Prescribed
Products Gift Ban and Disclosure Law by adding new restrictions in connection with VT-licensed HCPs
participation in paid marketing research surveys (including blinded surveys).
Effective July 1, 2011 paid market research surveys involving VT-licensed HCPs are now banned. The
restriction applies whether the survey is conducted directly by Pfizer or through an independent third
party survey research organization.
