2. *** These are for machine laid surfaces. If laid manually due to unavoidable reasons, tolerance upto 50 percent above
these values in this column may be permitted at the discretion of the Engineer. However, this relaxation does not apply to
the values of maximum undulation for longitudinal and cross profiles mentioned in columns 3 and 8 on the table.
3. Surface evenness requirements in respect of both the longitudinal and cross profiles should be simultaneously satisfied.
