Govt. bodies in the Power Sector have registered<br />
themselves on the website and are publicizing<br />
their vacancies on the website.<br />
CEA & MoP organized 2 nd International<br />
Conclave in August 2009 on key inputs in<br />
which more support from <strong>power</strong> developers<br />
including Private Sector for adoption of ITIs was<br />
emphasized.<br />
All <strong>power</strong> developers have been requested<br />
to take action on Planning Commission direction<br />
for adoption of ITI by each generating plant with<br />
more than 100 MW capacity.<br />
12.6 Recreation and Sports Club<br />
The Recreation Club of CEA has been a<br />
major source of inspiration for the employees<br />
of CEA for the <strong>development</strong> of extra-curricular<br />
activities. This is achieved by way of conducting<br />
indoor and outdoor games every year. The<br />
Recreation Club also takes part in both indoor<br />
and outdoor Inter-Ministry/Inter-CPSU<br />
Tournaments.<br />
During 2009-10, the CEA’s sports teams<br />
participated in various Inter-CPSU/Inter-<br />
Ministry tournaments for the following events:<br />
(i) Athletic<br />
Sh. Dinesh Rawat, an outstanding athlete<br />
of CEA, has brought laurels to CEA and also<br />
to the country as ever before and continues<br />
to do so. He won one Silver Medal in the<br />
400 meter individual race with a new Asian<br />
Record and one Bronze Medal in the 4x100<br />
meter Relay race in the age group of 40 plus in<br />
the World Master Athletics Championships<br />
held at Lahiti, Finland from 30 th July to 8 th<br />
August, 2009. He also won three Gold<br />
Medals in 100meter, 200meter & 400meter<br />
events in the Inter-PSU Athletic Championship<br />
held at Chandigarh from 15 th to 16 th March,<br />
2010. He was declared the “Best Athlete” of<br />
the Championship. Since the inception of the<br />
Inter-PSU Athletics Championships, he has<br />
been the Best Athlete in each of the Inter-<br />
PSU Athletics Championships. He has also<br />
been deputed as Chief Coach by the Delhi<br />
State Athletic Team for the forthcoming<br />
Commonwealth Games 2010.<br />
(ii) Table Tennis<br />
During the year 2009-2010, CEA’s Table<br />
Tennis has made the following achievements:-<br />
Participated in Inter-CPSU Table Tennis<br />
Team Tournament held at Tanakpur Power Station<br />
Banbassa, Distt. Champawat (Uttrakhand) from<br />
6 th April to 8 th April, 2009 under the aegis of<br />
PSCB hosted by NHPC Ltd.<br />

Finance Corporation Ltd.<br />
