Hosur, 400 kV reactors at Aurangabad, Akola,<br />

Korba, Bina, Trichy, Madurai, Vijayawada,<br />

Salem, 400 kV bays at Nalagarh, Bhiwadi,<br />

Aurangabad, Akola, Neyveli, Ranchi S/S,<br />

220 kV S/S at Dimapur, Barjora, 132 kV<br />

B) Periodical Inspections (under Rule 46 of<br />

I.E. Rules, 1956)<br />

Extra emphasis was laid on periodical<br />

inspection of large plants in Power and<br />

Petrochemical Sector under Rule 46 of I.E.<br />

Rules, 1956. Important projects covered are :<br />

a) Generating plants: Faridabad Gas of<br />

NTPC, Tehri HEP of THDC, Ramagundum TPS,<br />

Kaiga, Kathalguri, Loktak HEP, Kopili HEP, ST<br />

1 & 2 etc.<br />

b) 400/220 kV S/S at Nalagarh, Abdullapur,<br />

Mandola, Bassi, Barielly, Amritsar, Fatehabad,<br />

Vindhyachal, Bhadrawati, Satna, Boisar, Bina,<br />

Durg, Purnia, Jamshedpur, HVDC Bhadrawati,<br />

HVDC Talchar, Munirabad, Hiriyur, Kolar,<br />

Vijayawada, Bongaigoan, Misa etc.<br />
