Steps taken for Welfare <strong>of</strong> women employees:<br />

Generally women employees are not transferred<br />

except in cases <strong>of</strong> administrative exigency and even if<br />

transferred due care is taken to ensure that posting<br />

is made to the station where the spouse is posted.<br />

No woman employee is posted to hard projects.<br />

Special care is always taken to nominate deserving<br />

women employees to training programs / seminars<br />

organized exclusively for women employees.<br />

THDC<br />

Representation <strong>of</strong> women employees in THDC upto 30-11-2007 is given below<br />

Free membership <strong>of</strong> WIPS (Women In Public Sector)<br />

at Corporation’s expense.<br />

Creche facility is provided for women with infant<br />

children in Corporate Office.<br />

Suitable mechanism for prohibition <strong>of</strong> harassment <strong>of</strong><br />

women employees at work place.<br />

Special committees have also been set up to look into<br />

the grievances / complaints <strong>of</strong> harassment <strong>of</strong> women<br />

employees.<br />
