PFC<br />
Representation <strong>of</strong> women employees in PFC as on 30.11.2007 is given below:<br />
The Company has employed women in important and<br />
critical functional areas. Women representations have<br />
gone across hierarchical levels. The Company provides<br />
equal growth opportunities for the women in line with Govt.<br />
Sewing Classes for Village Ladies<br />
<strong>of</strong> India philosophy on the subject. The women are<br />
adequately represented, with 18.95% <strong>of</strong> the total work force<br />
excluding Board level employees.<br />

EMPLOYMENT OF WOMEN<br />
Since the inception in 1989, 92 females have been recruited<br />
at various executive / non - executing levels in the Corporation.<br />
At present, the strength <strong>of</strong> the women employee is 67 which<br />
comprises <strong>of</strong> 19 Executives and 48 Non-Executives. Their<br />
present strength accounts for about 7.18% <strong>of</strong> the total work<br />
force on the rolls <strong>of</strong> the Corporation. It is ensured that women<br />
employees get adequate representation in various activities<br />
/ programmes in the Corporation. In the year 1997, a Women<br />
Cell has been setup in the Corporation with the objectives <strong>of</strong><br />
promoting awareness among women employees about their<br />
rights and their all round development. This cell is being<br />
headed by a female employee <strong>of</strong> the rank <strong>of</strong> an executive in<br />
the middle level management. This Cell is functioning<br />
effectively since then.<br />
In line with Supreme Court Judgement in the matter <strong>of</strong> Vishaka<br />
and other Vs. State <strong>of</strong> Rajasthan, necessary clause has been<br />
incorporated in the conduct, discipline & appeal rules and<br />
certified Standing Orders <strong>of</strong> the Corporation besides<br />
formulating Complaint Committees – one each at Corporate<br />
Office and Project Site to look into the matters relating to<br />
Sexual Harassment <strong>of</strong> Women Employees at work place.
