Vent Inop Alarm Test<br />

Use the Vent Inop Alarm Test to verify that the Vent Inop alarm is working correctly.<br />

To run the Vent Inop Alarm Test:<br />

1) To run the Vent Inop Alarm Test, the ventilator must be on (running) for at least 60 seconds and<br />

the Ventilator Checkout menu must be enabled.<br />

When the Ventilator Checkout menu is enabled, VENT CHECK, ALARM, DISPLAY,<br />

CONTROL, LEAK, or EXIT is displayed in the ventilator display area.<br />

2) Turn the ventilator off by pressing and holding the On/Standby button for a minimum of 3<br />

seconds. DO NOT push the Silence Reset button.<br />

3) Observe the ventilator for 15 seconds.<br />

Listen for the alarm tone<br />

Watch the Vent Inop LED<br />
