Check the luer fitting connections for leaks.<br />
Check the elbow connectors at the wye to be<br />
sure they have not loosened or been broken<br />
loose.<br />
Verify lines are not occluded or pinched.<br />
Immediately contact a certified <strong>CareFusion</strong><br />
service technician.<br />
Some very small patients and patients with very<br />
weak inspiratory efforts may not be able to<br />
generate a 1 Lpm effort.<br />
Perform an autozero under XDCR ZERO. See<br />
page 10-27 for more information.<br />
Verify that the Leak Compensation extended<br />
features option is set to On (default setting is on).<br />

Verify ventilator is running in Flow Sensor Mode<br />
and O 2 Conserve is off (see Chapter 10 –<br />
Extended Features for additional information).<br />

When the battery charge circuit is running in bulk<br />
charge (the Charge Status LED is amber) the<br />
