Appendix E: RS232 Connection Description
• Transmitting Cable Production
There are two types of Pin for a normal type remote port. One is 9 Pin and the other one is
25 Pin. Usually the NC side has 9Pin male port. But, the PC side has either 9Pin or 25Pin.

The method to connect NC and PC is to do the transmitting via jumper cable. If users
equipment is 9Pin, then please use the 9Pin connector. Actually, 9Pin is very useful for
other controller system application. Sometimes, 3Pin can have the same control function.
So the simplest 3Pin is to use the 2 nd , the 3 rd and the 5 th pins to receive and transmit.
