The Contractor's responsibility related to product options and substitutions is defined inGeneral Conditions.B. Furnish information the ENGINEER deems necessary to judge equivalency <strong>of</strong> the alternateproduct.C. Pay for laboratory testing, as well as any other review or examination costs, needed toestablish the equivalency between products in order to obtain information upon which theENGINEER can base a decision.D. If the ENGINEER determines that an alternate product is not equal to that named in the<strong>Specifications</strong>, the Contractor shall furnish one <strong>of</strong> the specified products.1.5 ENGINEER'S REVIEWA. Alternate products or processes may be used only if approved in writing by theENGINEER.B. The ENGINEER’S determination regarding acceptance <strong>of</strong> a proposed alternate product isfinal.C. Alternate products will be accepted if the product is judged by the ENGINEER to beequivalent to the specified product or to <strong>of</strong>fer substantial benefit to the <strong>City</strong>.D.
