Specifications - City of Montpelier, Vermont

The Contractor is hereby informed that no construction work and/or noise will be permitted between the hoursof 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM, in accordance with the City Ordinance. Work on this project is prohibited onSundays and holidays (including July 3), but may be allowed on Saturdays by approval from the City. The useof machinery is further restricted to the working hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM because of the noise concerns inresidential neighborhoods. Early morning start times require approval and notification to property owners.Use of private water from building spigots is strictly prohibited unless property owner consent is granted(written consent may be required). A water source is the Contractor’s responsibility. Water from select firehydrants may be obtained at no charge through prior arrangement and approval with the City of Montpelier’sWater Department.The Contractor’s attention is called to work being performed by others which will require coordination.
