Add sufficient propylene glycol for 50% glycol solution by weight.Propylene glycol shall be inhibited and specifically designed for use inhydronic systems, DOWFROST or approved equal.A. Fill system and perform initial chemical treatment.B. Check expansion tanks to determine that they are not air bound and that thesystem is completely full <strong>of</strong> water.C. Before operating the system perform these steps:1. Open valves to full open position.2. Close coil bypass valves.3. Remove and clean strainers.4. Check pump for proper rotation direction and correct improper wiring.5. Set automatic fill valves for required system pressure.6. Check air vents at high points <strong>of</strong> systems and bleed air completely.7. Set temperature controls so all coils are calling for full flow.8. Check operation <strong>of</strong> automatic bypass valves.9. Check and set operating temperatures <strong>of</strong> heating system to designrequirements (refer to drawing schedules).10.
