Provide ULlisted factoryfabricated, solderless metal connectors <strong>of</strong> sizes,ampacity ratings, materials, types and classes for applications and for servicesindicated. Use connectors with temperature ratings equal to or greater than those<strong>of</strong> the wires upon which used.PART 3EXECUTION3.1 WIRING METHODA. Use the following wiring methods as indicated:1. Wire: install all wire in raceway.2. Metal Clad Cable, Type MC: for wiring in gypsum board partitions andfor connections from raceway outlet boxes to lighting fixtures.B. All 120V and 277V singlephase branch circuits shall have a dedicated full sizedneutral conductor. The sharing <strong>of</strong> the neutral conductor for singlephase loads ona threephase system is not allowed.3.2 INSTALLATION OF WIRES AND CABLESA. General: Install electrical cables, wires, and connectors in compliance with NEC.B. Coordinate cable installation with other Work.C. Pull conductors simultaneously where more than one is being installed in sameraceway. Use UL listed pulling compound or lubricant, where necessary.D. Use pulling means including, fish tape, cable, rope, and basket weave wire/cablegrips which will not damage cables or raceways. Do not use rope hitches forpulling attachment to wire or cable.E. Conceal all cable in finished spaces.F. Install exposed cable parallel and perpendicular to surfaces or exposed structuralWIRES AND CABLES161204
