Coordinate with other work, including painting, electrical boxes and wiringinstallations, as necessary to interface installation of wiring devices with otherwork.C. Install wiring devices only in electrical boxes which are clean; free from buildingmaterials, dirt, and debris.D. Install wiring devices after wiring work is completed.E. Where two light switches are controlling two separate 277 volt circuits and areganged together, Contractor shall furnish and install barriers between switches.F. Where two or more switches or other similar wiring devices are indicated at asingle location, they shall be installed under one multiple gang device plate and inan order appropriate to the location of the fixtures or devices being controlled.G. Duplex receptacles shall be mounted in a vertical position, unless noted otherwiseon the Drawings.H. Tighten connectors and terminals, including screws and bolts, in accordance withequipment manufacturer's published torque tightening values for wiring devices.Where manufacturer's torquing requirements are not indicated, tighten connectorsand terminals to comply with tightening torques specified in UL Standard 486A.Use properly scaled torque indicating hand tool.3.2 PROTECTIONA. Protect installed components from damage. Replace damaged items prior to finalacceptance.3.3 FIELD QUALITY CONTROLA. Testing: Prior to energizing circuits, test wiring for electrical continuity, and forshortcircuits. Ensure proper polarity of connections is maintained. Subsequentto energizing, test wiring devices and demonstrate compliance with requirements,operating each operable device at least six times.B.
