Uterhardt will help anchor <strong>the</strong> production and guide <strong>the</strong> Habima actors throughout <strong>the</strong> per<strong>for</strong>mance. Aside from<br />
giving actors an outlet <strong>for</strong> expression, Habima productions benefit <strong>the</strong> guest artists, production team, and<br />
audience by imparting an appreciation <strong>for</strong> what individuals with disabilities can achieve through <strong>the</strong> arts.<br />
Ma<strong>the</strong>ny School and Hospital, Inc. (aka Ma<strong>the</strong>ny)<br />
$10,000 Peapack, NJ<br />
To support Full Circle, a multidisciplinary project that will showcase art created by individuals with disabilities.<br />
The event will consist of a gallery exhibition of visual and written works, followed by a live multimedia stage<br />
show of dramatic, written, filmed, and choreographed pieces. Professional actors, dancers, and set designers<br />
will stage <strong>the</strong> original works created by program participants; <strong>the</strong> guest artists will work directly with <strong>the</strong>m,<br />
meeting regularly be<strong>for</strong>e <strong>the</strong> per<strong>for</strong>mance and taking direction as to how <strong>the</strong>ir work should be presented.<br />
Methow Music Festival Association (aka Methow Valley Chamber Music Festival)<br />
$10,000 Winthrop, WA<br />
To support <strong>the</strong> 21st-annual Methow Valley Chamber Music Festival. This festival brings professional classical<br />
musicians to per<strong>for</strong>m concerts <strong>for</strong> residents of one of <strong>the</strong> most sparsely populated and economically challenged<br />
areas of Washington State. O<strong>the</strong>r activities will include open dress rehearsals, meet-<strong>the</strong>-artist opportunities<br />
following each concert, pre-concert lectures, free mini-concerts at local businesses, and music education<br />
outreach at <strong>the</strong> local youth string camp.<br />
Minneapolis Pops Orchestra Association<br />
$10,000 Minneapolis, MN<br />
To support <strong>the</strong> annual Free Concerts <strong>for</strong> Seniors per<strong>for</strong>mance series featuring musical <strong>the</strong>ater artists Wendy<br />
Lehr and Gary Briggle, with related outreach activities. Concerts serving low-income older adults will be held at<br />
different community venues throughout Minneapolis such as <strong>the</strong> historic Nicollet Island Pavilion, Elliot Park, and<br />
<strong>the</strong> Como Dockside Pavilion. Older adults will receive free transportation to all concerts.<br />
Moab Music Festival, Inc.<br />
$10,000 Moab, UT<br />
To support <strong>the</strong> Leonard Bernstein Centennial Celebration concert during <strong>the</strong> 25th-annual Moab Music Festival,<br />
with related activities. Guest artists will include <strong>the</strong> Fort Lewis College Chamber Choir, with conductor Michael<br />
Barrett and narrator Jaimie Bernstein. As part of <strong>the</strong> festival's education and community outreach program, an<br />
adapted version of <strong>the</strong> program "Who Was Leonard Bernstein?" will be presented at up to two assemblies <strong>for</strong><br />
more than 700 Grand County students, grades 7-12.<br />
Morgan County Foundation, Inc. (aka Madison-Morgan Cultural Center)<br />
$10,000 Madison, GA<br />
To support <strong>the</strong> <strong>2017</strong> Madison Chamber Music Festival. The project will bring toge<strong>the</strong>r proposed artists such as<br />
Atlanta Symphony members Christopher Rex (principal cello) and David Coucheron (concertmaster), <strong>the</strong> Turtle<br />
Island Quartet, and jazz pianist Cyrus Chestnut. The per<strong>for</strong>mances are intended to serve a rural community and<br />
will occur at a variety of community venues such as <strong>the</strong> Madison-Morgan Cultural Center and Madison's Town<br />
Park.<br />
<strong>National</strong> Association of Black Storytellers, Inc. (aka NABS)<br />
$10,000 Baltimore, MD<br />
To support a storytelling festival, including <strong>the</strong> Adopt-A-Teller workshops and related, free interactive musical<br />
per<strong>for</strong>mances and workshops in Wichita, Kansas. Intended to serve primarily African-American, low-income<br />
