ERITREA/ETHIOPIA Horn of Africa jamming 15645/41mb.
I did hear about that jamming, also about the jamming on 41mb around 0400
UT. On 7175, but it was Ramadan time here and now it's over so I'm getting
back to my usual schedule of DXing. I'll give it a try and will keep you
posted about 9339 kHz. No, it's not Egypt. E25 (Egypt's number station) is
active now on 6140 kHz around 0800-1000 UT, also 9450 around 1200-1300 UT
, I discivered a new freq last week ... 6170 ... but I heard them only
once !
There are so many number stations going all over the frequencies now,
though it ain't as much as it used to be during the cold war era.
Today Oct 15 I was checking the jamming on the 41mb, preciously on 7175
kHz I noticed that it started around 0359 UT but around 0412 UT it moved
to another two freqs 7210 and 7215 kHz.
The jammer went back again to 7175 kHz around 0415 UT ... in the meantime
I checked 7210/7215 kHz and I can confirm hearing Eritrea (Program 2) on
both channels as Eri. Program one is booming in on 7100 kHz.
Around 0423 UT 7215 kHz went silent ... so I chased the jammer to 7175 and
it was there plus being on 7180 as well ... sounds like they started
chasing eachothers. 0427 UT as I'm writing this, there are four freqs
being jammed, 7175/7180/7210 and 7215 kHz. Underneath 7215 kHz I still
could hear Prog. 2 of Eritrea, the splatter of DW in Arabic on 7170 kHz is
really killing 7175.
0429 UT Program 2 went back to 7175 kHz ... and the jammer stoped for a
while but now it's back in a minute. The funny thing is around 0430 UT
they decided to jam 7170 kHz - DW in Arabic as well. But I noticed on 6165
kHz a very strong carrier with a few words in Horn of Africa language with
the word Democratic ... that lasted for like 2 Min and then gone again
could be: 0400-0500 CLA V.o.Peace and Democracy TIG ERI 9560/7165 kHz
according to EIBI.
0440 UT ERI program 2 on 7175 kHz - back to base - with the jammer on ....
and suddenly all off that freq ... moving to a new one 7160 kHz - that's a
new freq for jamming.
0445 UT ERI moved again 7160 kHz, butthe jammers are on 7210/7215 kHz,
0447 UT the jammers followed to 7160 kHz, and suddenly all moved to 7215
again.
0452 UT ERI back to 7175 kHz, and the jammer followed in a minute leaving
7215 kHz.
I think I better stop chasing ERI Prog. 2 and the jammer/s and the go to
bed as my ears started crying for some peace!

UNIDENTIFIED/JAMMING 15645 Jamming on 15645 versus what?
Bubble Jamming noted since past week daily. Noted this Near East jamming
already from 1436 UT onwards today Oct 13. UNID program target.
IRN, IRQ, Kurdistan target?? Program lasts 1500-1600 UT.
Glenn told the dx-press about an UNID bubble jamming some days ago.
