BENIN Mr. Eric Biokou, the chief engineer of Radio Parakou says the
station uses a RIZ transmitter manufactured in (what used to be)
Yugoslavia and installed in 1995. The transmitter can be heard most
evenings in Sweden on 5025 and is rated at 10 kW. Radio Parakou also has
two 1970's transmitters which are broken and which cannot be repaired as
spare parts are not available.
