UK transmitter maps. BBC, commercial and LPAM MW transmitter locations are
mapped using Google Maps at
In most cases the markers are located right at the mast (or midway between
a 2 or 4 mast array).
It's helped me target some channels eg chasing LPAM stations - noting of
course that some of the University stations go off-air during the summer
vacation, giving even more dx opportunities.
(later) I also added a map of European, Asian and African Longwave station
sites a week or so ago.

Bit late in replying to this but the maps are fantastic. A really useful
tool to use and MANY thanks for putting all the time and effort into it.

IBB-Delano: "Another international b/cing SW site is to close at the end
of the current SWBC season. The American Federation of Govt Employees,
Local 1812, says that the BBG has ancd the closure of the Delano,
California xmtng stn. The closure is scheduled for Oct 30, 2007 [Sic.
Probably means Sunday 28 October. Andy Sennitt].
Employees will remain on the payroll until Jan 5, 2008. This news hardly
comes as a surprise, as the closure has been rumoured for months. Kim
Andrew Elliott notes that the site is currently used for R. Marti, VOA
Spanish and Creole, and Special English to LA."
