Two broadcaster on exact 15345.00 kHz, RTM Rabat via Nador in Arabic mx on top S=9, and REE mixed Arabic / Spanish program towards NE/ME, S=7 underneath. (wb, wwdxc BC-DX July 1) Interviewed on RNW Radio Enlace programme Marcelo Campos of RAE said that she though shortwave will last for a few more years. However the younger generation is not satisfied with the audio quality of shortwave. RAE is thinking about putting Japanese on at 2200 for morning broadcast instead of Spanish. Radio Nacional is already on internet, and she hopes to have RAE on there too before too much longer. A listener, not a station, invited her to visit Germany and see the latest technological developments in broadcasting, which she enjoyed very much. RAE has good relations with other stations, but does not have the wherewithal to work together with them. She has been in shortwave since 1989; before that she was at a domestic station in remote Ushuaia where she would like to return some day after retirement.
