16<strong>05</strong> - 1704* Sept. 17. Presumed this one to be at this time frame, the<br />

entire program consisted of Horn of Africa Instrumental Music to Local<br />

Tribal Dance Music. No announcements or any information at sign-off which<br />

was late. The last four minutes the same song was repeated over several<br />

times. Strange that the entire broadcast was in this form?<br />

*1600-1709* Sept. 20. Noted at 1553 UT with 800 hertz tones. Horn of<br />

Africa Musical with singers in Amharic at 1600 UT. Into opening<br />

announcements, noted a partial ID for 'ye demoractica .. arbenyoch ...yea',<br />

but a terrible warbler type of noise appeared during the entire broadcast.<br />

It remained on the whole time till sign-off. The entire program consisted<br />

of talks, with Horn of Africa Instrumental Dance Music with singers, but a<br />

very tinny musical sound. Again on this one, this broadcast went past the<br />

schedule sign-off at 1700 to 1709 UT with repeat of the last song several<br />

times.<br />

of Africa, noise on the frequency 23333 splashed from VOIRI in Arabic on<br />

15150 kHz.<br />
