- Tx site grounds are almost a swamp, sign says "operation of cardiac
pacemakers could be influenced"
- Two VM's; one of them is in regular use on 13730/5945, also 6155 was in
the past temporarily switched to 100 kW via VM when 6 MHz HQ was needed
for third party transmissions; max. 100 kW, freq. range not specified,
maybe one is for the lower and the other for the higher bands but I'm not
sure
- LP, rotatable, 6...21 MHz, max. 100 kW
- Four RHO's, built in 1961: 90/270 deg., 123/303 deg., 56/236 deg., 175
deg. not reversable; all 9...21 MHz and max. 100 kW
- Two HQ's, built in 1983, max. 300 kW, website specifies frequency ranges
as 5/6 (! - this means 60 metres capability if correct, but I seem to
recall earlier information specifying 6/7 MHz instead) and 7/9 MHz, the
latter hardly ever in use, the 6 MHz one is the "home" of 6155.
- HRS, built in 1983, bidirectional 4/4 system for 11...21 MHz each
(probably western side 9...17 MHz instead, as far as I recall earlier
information); 85/235 deg., both slewable up to +/- 30 deg., max. 300 kW,
both sides can be used simultaneously but the second one with 100 kW only
if I recall correct
- Rotatable HR, built in 1983, only Moosbrunn antenna which can be used
with full 500 kW, one side 6...9 MHz, other side 11...21 MHz. An identical
antenna has been built at Kvitsoy, further ones may well exist at other
Telefunken-built shortwave plants

until Moosbrunn was operational

- Aldrans: Domestic service relay on 6000 with NVIS antenna started in
early seventies with 100 watt, later upgraded to 1 kW, new 10 kW tx
installed in 1975, used for foreign service ("Kurzwellendienst des
Oesterreichischen Rundfunks", later known as ROI) instead from 1978,
closed down in 1984 and moved to Moosbrunn:
