BC-DX 789 05 Jan 2007 Private Verwendung der Meldun

INDIA 15155 AIR GOS English sce from Aligarh suffers very bad audio
feed. Noted in 1730-1945 UT time span. I guess the local technician tuned
ASIDE of the feeder frequency on the satellite tuner. July 1st.

INDONESIA 3266.42 RRI Gorontalo (pres) 1127-1215 July 2. Indo vocal mx
hosted by YL; Jak nx at 1200 after exactly 3 notes of SCI; the Jak relay
ended at 1214 but not sure what followed - maybe just dead air; at any
rate they pulled the plug about 1225.
4789.98 RRI Fak-fak 1143-1220 July 4. Indo vocal mx to 1158, then M ancr
briefly; dead air for a minute or two, then SCI and Jak relay at 1201;
back to local studio at 1223, with man speaking in Bahasa Indonesia. Good
w/CODAR QRM.

4790, RRI Fak Fak, 0955-1005 Since this freq is clear lately, noted Fak
Fak with Qu'ran type program of singing by a male up to the hour and
through the hour. No break for ID or anything at 1000. Signal was fair
during this time.

ISRAEL/PALESTINE 756 A new clandestine station from Israel to
Palestine.
Just got back from Alexandria - about 300 kms north of Cairo - which is my
place for MW DXing. Checking 756 kHz which is always carring Almachrek
Radio, the clandestine station from Israel to Lebanon, I noticed a new ID
for a station ID in Arabic - "Rokn Alsout Alfalasteniy" - in English it
means the "Corner of the Palestinian Voice", first time to hear it on June
22 with verious programs about the Palestinian current situation specially
after HAMAS took over the rule of Gaza.
They transmit twice daily as they announce temporary on 756 kHz.
Daily 0700-0800 AM 1500-1600 PM Jerusalem time - 0400-0500 UT and 1200-
1300 UT - they also announced the Website
It's a quite starnge mix to be honest listening to the programs they
repeat the morning transmission at the afternoon. Some of the programs are
- between us - which sounded like a political commentary criticizing the
current stiuation in Gaza and HAMAS. Also a program called - lady -
dedicated to the fashion and make up stuff! with some English hits in
between as well, some of the other programs are to the point and Abu
Mahmoud.
The main announcers of the programs are the same announcers of Almachrek
Radio and BTW I hear the same announcers on Program D of KOL specially the
current affairs programs. same source!?
One more note WRTH 2007 stated that the sign on of Almachrek Radio is at
0430 UT, but actually it starts at 0500 UT right after the corner of the
Palestinian Voice, same with the sign off when Almachrek Radio signs off
at 1200 UT, the corner of the Palestinian Voice starts the afternoon
transmission.
