0700-0805 and 1530-1730 UT.

New VR 5965 kHz. 5965 is the daytime channel of Vatican Radio, ex5885 due
of DRM Norway 5895 kHz.
Re the item from Chuck Bolland-FL-USA in dxld:
5965 is the new morning (in Europe) frequency for Vatican Radio. Bernie
O'Shea put out a schedule in the last few days which shows that 5965 opens
at 0410 UT. At 0700-0745 I've heard their listed Italian, French and
English news bulletins. It might sound like the BBC (British English) but
it is Vatican Radio. Arabic follows at 0745 UT until off at about 0800.
The move to 5965 might have been prompted by the use of DRM from Kvitsoy
on behalf of the BBC on 5895 at 0500-0700 then 5875 at 0700-0800. I think
most of us will know the VAT IS - the bird via RAI Rome is of course now
no longer heard via SW.
