Radio Romania International fuehrt auch <strong>2007</strong> einen Hoerertag durch, an dem<br />

die Programme auf den Beitraegen seiner Hoerer und Hoererinnen aufbauen<br />

werden. Der Hoerertag wird am Sonntag, 4. Nov. <strong>2007</strong>, gleich nach dem Tag<br />

des Rumaenischen Rundfunks, 1. November, stattfinden, <strong>der</strong> an die erste<br />

Rundfunksendung des Landes am 1. Nov. 1928 erinnert. "Wir haben uns auch<br />

fuer dieses Jahr ein Thema ausgedacht. Dieses lautet ,Radiogeschehen'. Das<br />

Radio begleitet einige von uns einen Grossteil des Tages. Es kann sein,<br />

dass Ihnen beim Radiohoeren etwas passiert ist, woran Sie sich gerne, mit<br />

Humor o<strong>der</strong> Nostalgie erinnern.<br />

Erinnern Sie sich noch an Ihr erstes Radioempfangsgeraet? Vielleicht an<br />

einem Besuch bei einer Radiostation? Hat das Radio ihr taegliches Programm<br />

veraen<strong>der</strong>t o<strong>der</strong> haben Sie vielleicht Ihren Lebensgefaehrten/Ihre<br />

Lebensgefaehrtin durch dieses Hobby kennengelernt. Womoeglich wurden sie<br />

von einem Radiogeschehen beeindruckt und moechten uns diese Erfahrung<br />

schil<strong>der</strong>n." Entsprechende Beitraege werden erbeten an<br />

fair, in the clear, with Firedrake off the air during their usual gap from<br />

1000* - *1004:30. Firedrake also heard here at 0913 & 0938 UT with fair<br />

English, 1459 UT sign on with IS, ID, talk.<br />

9765 R. Tikhiy Okean (R. Pacific Ocean), Vladivostok, at *0835-0900* UT<br />

on Oct 16, strong open carrier already on at 0810 UT, starts with "Govorit<br />

Vladivostok", chimes IS, Russian programming (news items, announcements,<br />

interviews, Russian ballad, etc.), several IDs "Radiostantsiya Tikhiy<br />

Okean" with sound of the ocean and ship's bell, ToH 3 pips, carrier off at<br />

0901:30 UT, strong reception. This station broadcasts to the Russian<br />

fishermen and seamen out in the Pacific Ocean and is also broadcast via<br />

Primorskoe Radio on AM 810 kHz, also from Vladivostock. The website for<br />

13745 kHz, checked again Wed Oct 10 at 1325 UT, M talking continuously<br />

with occasional brief music bits; could not make out much, but heard<br />

Azerbaijan mentioned, and later Pakistan. Also thought I heard an<br />

occasional Russian word, such as 'druzhya'. At 1346 UT there seemed to be<br />

an ID, Radio A ? but could not make it out. Then a musical interlude until<br />

a W began speaking at 1350 UT; From 1352 UTeclipsed by the big OC from<br />

CRI-via-Habana on 13740 kHz.<br />

13745 was still a mystery here, Oct 12 at 1255 tune-in, man speaking<br />

slowly, deliberately with great expression, apparently reading poetry or a<br />

classic story. Went right thru hourtop with no break. Finally at 1311<br />

music, 1317 started another program with theme, woman announcer; 1319<br />

brief Russian actuality with voice-over translation in still uncertain<br />

language. I don't hear anything to indicate this is Christian, nor
