I hear two stations here in Germany in past weeks. One ahead is
undoubtedly YFR in English, the other seemingly Iranawila in Georgian acc
Aoki list.
One station is odd approx. 60-70 Hz and produces nasty beat.

I can no longer say I never hear a US SW station, government or private,
playing the Star Spangled Banner. Ran across it on WTJC 9370 kHz, Mon Nov
19 at 2320 UT, choral version, and including second verse, "O Thus Be It
E'er", because that asserts "In God is our trust" until 2323 UT and
immediately into some ordinary hymn. Certainly an odd time to be playing
the NA, maybe just a fluke and not repeatable, but check again at this
time of day.

Re WTJC 9370 playing Star Spangled Banner at 2318 UT: Glenn, I think FBN
plays the Star Spangled Banner on their domestic network at noon eastern
time daily, which I assume would be repeated on 5920 and 9370 at 1700 UT.
But seeing how much emphasis FBN places on patriotism and Americanism, I'm
not surprised that the Star Spangled Banner would make an appearance
several times a day, especially on patriotic holidays.

2. "... is a small cluster of small buildings. As you enter the property
on their roadway-driveway (Leon Srygler Rd), the 1st building on the left
and parallel to the driveway is the studio building for WJCR-FM (and it
was also the studio building for WJCR-SW).
The 2nd building on the left at right angle to the driveway is their
storage-work space building for shipping consignments of welfare goods
overseas.
The 3rd building on the left at right angle to the driveway is the
transmitter building containing 5 transmitters, 3 RCA modified MW,
and two from VOA Bethany.
