And RNW's return to Orfordness 1296 after two years

is only possible because the BBC had already cut back their DRM activities
and uses 1296 no longer throughout the day but only for three hours each
in the morning and evening anymore. Btw, a disappointed "but it's in Dutch
only" comment just appeared on the A-DX list, as if still a terrestrial
English service is on the wish list of some German listeners.
Zur Zeit kommt das deutsche Programm der DWL auf der nicht registrierten
man die DWL aufgeschaltet hat?
31mb I've been concentrating on trying to complete my 31m.b. survey,
but some signals don't seem to be any better day to day. I assume the
station in Chinese on 9745 is Voice of Han, and that VoR via Chita is the
co-channel at 1300/1400 - the Russian Anthem is heard at 1400 UT.
And on 9485 I can hear what I assume is Shiokaze at 1300 and Chosun at
1330, but neither are strong enough to ID properly. And 9625 is a real
mess - at 1300 I believe I've heard CBC Northern Service plus FEBC and the
frequency doesn't get any better at 1400 when Family Radio starts in
listed Tamil from Novosibirsk. Australia is listed from 1400 and an ID "
something B C" has been heard.
On 9865 I hear Family Radio in Chinese via listed Petropavlovsk - quite
good too, despite splash from Bangalore 9870 kHz. Sodrushevtso starts at
1500 but I'm not sure where that comes from. Meyerton is heard at 1600 on
9675 via TWR in listed Kirundi and on 9440 at 1600 via Family R. in
Portuguese. FEBA from somewhere is heard at 1630 on 9850. At 1530 on 9355
I assume it's Voice of Orthodox via Almaty - not daily. It's an
interesting band!
ALLISS Some interesting references to Alliss antennas, including one
such antenna somewhere in China & a proposed RCI site (wish) on Vancouver
Island, Canada on Youtube.
