Vividh Bharati 9870. Did my first checking at 0050, Wed.3, for Vividh
Bharati on new 9870 and as expected great signal from Bangalore with 500
kW, slightly noisy and fady than on former 10330. And it's so long for
Radio Austria Int. 300 kW. barely audible in the background. By 0230 VB
has faded substantially, but no trace of Radio Prague at all.
Tiny in Germany 1100-1200 UT slot, only S=1 just over threshold at
present. But will much stronger in coming winter season from 1500 UT
onwards. (wb)
INDONESIA 4790.05 RRI Fak-Fak (pres) at 1122-1230+ UT on Sep 26. Koran
recitations, still going past 1230 UT per re-checks. Ditto for subsequent
mornings. Hardly anything resembling Ramadan programming heard from other
RRI stations.
(John Wilkins-CO-USA, DXplorer Sept 30)
9680 RRI Jarkarta, at 1035-1100 UT Oct 5, Two males in Indonesian
9525 Voice of Indonesia, at 1113-1125 UT Oct 5. Female person reading
text in Chinese(?). Sounds like she is reading the text phonitically.
Signal was good.
