GERMANY [Myanmar non] DVB 9490 via Wertachtal at 0010-0025 UT on 29
Sept in Burmese and possibly another language after 0015. Strong and clear
signal.
I have an old (over five years) language sked that says there is a
15m Kachin broadcast every Saturday. At 0015 UT I heard either a
different language or a non-native Burmese speaker speaking Burmese-my
guess is the first. Can anyone verify these languages? Their website says
nothing. You can theoretically view the site in several non-Burmese
languages but I got 404 messages for all of them.

Der US-amerikanische Militaerrundfunk American Forces' Network wird seine
Station in Wuerzburg im kommenden Jahr schliessen. Hintergrund ist die
Aufloesung aller Objekte der US-Streitkraefte in Wuerzburg, die nach einer
Mitteilung des Europakommandos der US Army in Heidelberg fuer das
Haushaltsjahr Okt. 2007 - Sept. 2008 vorgesehen ist. Mit Aufloesung der
Studios in Wuerzburg duerften auch die Mittelwelle 1143 kHz und die UKW-
Frequenz 104,9 MHz abgeschaltet werden, die ueber Anlagen von T-Systems
