Article 100:<br />

By exception to provisions of Article 98, prohibitions prescribed by signal n° C, 18 (parking<br />

prohibition) and n° C, 19 ( Stop and parking prohibition ) can be limited to a str<strong>et</strong>ch comprised<br />

b<strong>et</strong>ween two of the mentioned signals compl<strong>et</strong>ed by additional roadsigns constituted of one by a<br />

vertical black arrow the tip of which is directed upwards and the other by a similar black arrow<br />

downwards.<br />

Article 101:<br />

Where several prohibitions are applicable at the same place, their symbols can be grouped on<br />

the same disc.<br />

However, the number of grouped symbols on the same disc cannot be more than three.<br />

Article 102:<br />

Obligation signals are placed where their visibility is best ensured for the user they concern.<br />

Section 3. Indication Signals.<br />

Article 103:<br />

Indication signals are meant to gui<strong>de</strong> and to inform the public way users; they are shown in<br />

Annex 4 of this Decree.<br />

These signals are. placed at the most appropriate places in view of the information they provi<strong>de</strong>.<br />

Chapter 3. TRAFFIC LIGHTS<br />

Section 1. Traffic Lights<br />

Article 104:<br />

1. The three coloured traffic lights have the following meaning:<br />

a) The red light means: prohibition to move beyond the signal;<br />

b) The yellow light means: prohibition to move beyond the stop line or, in <strong>de</strong>fault of any stop<br />

line, the signal itself, unless that at the shifting move the driver is so close to the light that he<br />

can no more stop with enough security conditions; anyway, where the signal is found at crossroads,<br />

the driver who has passed the stop line or the signal in such circumstances can only g<strong>et</strong><br />

out of the cross-roads if he does not constitute a danger for other users;<br />

c) The green light means: authorisation to pass the signal.<br />

2. The red, the fixed yellow and the green lights may be replaced respectively by one or more<br />

red, yellow or green coloured arrows.<br />

These arrows bear the same meaning as the lights but the prohibition or authorisation they<br />

indicate is limited to directions <strong>de</strong>signated by the respective arrows.<br />

3. When one or more additional lights in the form of one or more green arrows are lit jointly<br />

with the red or the yellow light, the arrows mean: authorisation to continue the move only in the<br />

direction indicated by the arrow, on condition of giving way to drivers regularly moving from
