Born 1921 in Pieve di Soligo (Treviso, Italy). Profesor of the Italian Literature
at the University of Padova. One of the leading Italian poet writers.
He published eleven books of poetry: Beyond the Landscape, 1951, An
Elegy and Other Rimes, 1954, The Vocative Case, 1957, IX Eclouge, 1962,
Beauty, 1969, Looks, facts and Senghal, 1969, But Why, 1971, New Birth,
1974, Galateo in the Woods, 1979, Fosfeni, 1983, and Idiom, 1986. He also
published a book of fiction Alto Plano as well as critical writings (The
Phantasies of Approaching).
