Most countries report emissions associated with domestic aviation and
shipping as part of total national GHG emissions, but exclude those associated
with international aviation and shipping (table 4 – 13, columns 4 and 5).

2.3.9 Overview of sectoral indicators
Below are shown the values for each of the sectoral performance indicators in
2004 1 , the trend between 1990 and 2004 (increasing or decreasing) and a
‘performance meter’, comparing the country’s performance to that of other
countries.
In most of these sectors Spain is above the world average, but below Annex I
average; an exception is agriculture, which is around the Annex I average.
However, some of these indicators (based on emissions per capita) do not
reflect the sector’s emissions, as population is not the major driver for emissions
(e.g. international transport, LULUCF). Other sectoral performance indicators
have been shown before.
