Today, rare earth metals are vital materials <strong>for</strong> a wide range ofhigh-tech products, such as mobile phones, x-ray units, <strong>and</strong> laptop hard drives. Rareearth metals are also drivers of <strong>the</strong> ‘green’ technology revolution, where <strong>the</strong>y are used inelectric vehicles <strong>and</strong> wind turbines.
