sharing knowledge and making the most of opportunities. In addition to the seminar
schedule they were interested in getting to know all about education within the German
Police, here the studies at our Police College/Hochschule für Polizei including
logistics and curriculum met with their special interest. Even the Scandinavians
seemed to be very impressed about our access to child care at the campus. They told us
that this doesn’t even exist in their counties. So they decided that they would make our
idea known at home trying to export this role model. Meanwhile some of them have
contacted Dr. Susanne Scheller to get more information about this unique day care.
There is no international seminar without hosting programme. Together with the
trainer Susanne Thalheim from Munich the participants visited Castle Hohenzollern
and the Landesgartenschau, a Horticultural Show of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
Another highlight was a gala dinner with the Landespolizeipräsident Dr. Wolf Hammann
and his wife as well as Prof. Pick at the end of the seminar.
