TIB/InConcert — automates the workflow of customer-oriented
processes.
TIB/IntegrationManager — defines and manages automated business
processes that span multiple applications and transactions.
TIB/MessageBroker — performs automated message transformation and
business object mapping.
TIB/Adapters — integrates off-the-shelf applications and databases.
Each adapter integrates with one or multiple interfaces provided by the
legacy, CRM, ERP and other applications.
Adapters simplify the whole process of adding a new application in an
enterprise, as long as it implements the ActiveEnterprise data model.
The new application will be integrated seamlessly with every other
application, database and network that is a part of the ActiveEnterprise
platform. This specifies a very important point — through the use of
adapters, applications just have to publish the data to the network.
Other complex actions such as message transformation and business
process automation are completely hidden from the individual applications.
According to the data sheet provided by TIBCO, TIB/Adapters are
available for many applications and platforms including SAP R/3, Siebel,
Peoplesoft, Vantive, Clarify, Lotus Notes, Portal Infranet, Kenan and
