A supply chain flow extends from the original materials suppliers<br />

through manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing <strong>to</strong> the final consumer.<br />

Figure 14.2 shows the entire business process and the workflow of a<br />

purchase requisition in a company.<br />

Whenever there is a purchase requisition in a department, it is<br />

forwarded through the supervisor <strong>to</strong> the senior manager who, after
