webMethods B2B solution supports X.509 digital certificates, which
ensure that business services are accessed and data transactions are
initiated only by known and specified partners, HTTP Authentication,
Access Control Lists (ACLs), Secure Socket Layer (SSL) support and
RSA-based public key encryption of data. These capabilities permit secure
connections to Web servers running SSL and also protect communications
between the webMethods B2B Server and your trading partners.
Netfish XDI server
Netfish XDI Server enables routing of outbound requests through an
SSL proxy server. Inbound requests can also enforce either server-side
SSL authentication or mutual (server and client) SSL authentication
(see Figure 10.18). The XDI Server supports importing digital certificates
in standard formats such as PKCS#12 and PKCS#7 and allows trading
partners to use distinct certificates for data encryption and signing.
TIBCO TIB/BusinessConnect
Tibco's B2B solution — TIB/BusinessConnect supports 56- and 128-bit
SSL encryption. For authentication, it utilizes digital signatures, X.509
