Manage purchase order —PIP3A4<br />

PIP3A4 specifies the purchase order management process between trading<br />

partners (see Figure 7.5). The management process includes the creation,<br />

change and cancellation of a purchase order.<br />

1. The buyer creates a purchase order and sends a request <strong>to</strong> the<br />

supplier <strong>to</strong> fulfill the order.<br />

2. The seller acknowledges acceptance of the purchase order.<br />

3. The buyer can also use this PIP in the future <strong>to</strong> make a change in the<br />

purchase order or <strong>to</strong> cancel it al<strong>to</strong>gether.<br />
