5.3.2. Vitria BusinessWare
BusinessWare's BPM component is capable of modeling and automating
simple to complex business processes within and between organizations.
Typical internal business processes could include order fulfilment and
inventory management-type processes, while business-to-business processes
can include provision of services, supply chain management and
multistep purchasing transactions.
Automator in the BusinessWare software is the primary component
for process management and provides the process modeling environment
and the process execution engine for handling high volumes of business
transactions (see Figure 5.13). It also enables a company to create
visual models of business processes and executes those business process
models by directing the flow of information among the underlying
internal and external IT systems and workers that perform the steps
