The Philosophy-Religion department <strong>of</strong>fers the major in Religion. <strong>University</strong> study in religion<br />

should increase a student’s awareness <strong>of</strong> the scope and variety <strong>of</strong> the ways human beings<br />

seek and discover meaning in life. Courses in this department can aid the student in grasping<br />

what religious traditions mean and evaluating the religious choices which persons and<br />

societies make.
