Religion Major
The Philosophy-Religion department offers the major in Religion. University study in religion
should increase a student’s awareness of the scope and variety of the ways human beings
seek and discover meaning in life. Courses in this department can aid the student in grasping
what religious traditions mean and evaluating the religious choices which persons and
societies make.
