Teacher Licensure
Students majoring in Foreign Language-French or Foreign Language-Spanish may earn
licensure to teach K-12. Refer to the Education Division section of the Catalog for specific
requirements.
Writing Intensive Requirement
The writing-intensive course requirement may be met with one course chosen from FREN 310,
FREN 320, SPAN 310 or 320. Substitutions for these courses may be made with department
approval.
German
Non-major courses in German are also offered by the Foreign Language Department .
Language
Non-major courses in languages other than French, German and Spanish are also offered by
the Foreign Language Department depending upon student interest. .

FRENCH CONCENTRATION
Complete 15 hours of French coursework at or above the 200 level.
